CineBuddy Safety

Before a cinema meeting

  1. Choose a public cinema lobby and tell someone you trust.
  2. Keep control of your own travel and ticket.
  3. Use the local check-in reminder if useful.
  4. Do not share a home address, identity document, or exact live location.
  5. Leave immediately if the situation feels wrong.

Local check-in plan

The movie, cinema, buddy nickname, check-in time, and trusted contact stay on the device in this version. The reminder is local. CineBuddy does not monitor the meeting or automatically notify the contact.

Red safety control

Hold for five seconds to start a ten-second cancel period. If not cancelled, CineBuddy opens the 112 call screen. The phone still asks for confirmation. This protects against an accidental call while keeping official help close.

The action does not silently call, record audio, share location, notify Daniel's Creates Paris, or dispatch police.

Reports and blocks

Use Report for abuse, fraud, sexual pressure, threats, stalking, identity misuse, or unsafe conduct. Use Block to stop contact. A signed-in report about a live member enters the private report queue. Preview profiles cannot receive a live report.

CineBuddy does not routinely read every private message. A safety reviewer may examine the report and relevant submitted evidence. During a controlled founder-run beta, Daniel Madac may review it. The queue and email are not monitored 24/7.

Official support in France

Police cooperation

Daniel's Creates Paris may cooperate with a competent authority when required by a valid legal request, legal duty, or a lawful and necessary response to protect vital interests. The request should be verified and only relevant data disclosed. CineBuddy has no permanent police access or direct police API.
