Cinema-first safety · Version 1.1
CineBuddy Community Standards
Safe, public cinema friendship between adults. Respect a no, a skipped invite, a report, and a block.
Required conduct
- Be at least 18.
- Use a real account and one nickname.
- Meet first in a public cinema lobby or another clearly public cinema space.
- Keep messages respectful and connected to cinema or the planned meeting.
- Upload or stream only media you own or may share.
Not allowed
- Harassment, threats, stalking, intimidation, hate, or discrimination.
- Sexual pressure, sexual services, compensated dating, escort activity, or exploitation.
- Child sexual abuse or exploitation content or behaviour. CineBuddy is adults only and has zero tolerance for CSAE.
- Impersonation, scams, fake verification, payment fraud, spam, or account evasion.
- Sharing another person's contact, identity, location, or private messages without permission.
- Weapons, violence, illegal drugs, trafficking, or immediate safety risks.
- Copyright infringement, cinema recording, or rebroadcasting protected films.
- Retaliation after a report or block, knowingly false reports, or deliberate misuse of an emergency control.
Reports and blocks
Use Report for abuse, fraud, unsafe conduct, or prohibited content. Use Block to stop contact and hide the person. Do not make knowingly false reports.
CineBuddy does not routinely read every private chat. A reviewer may examine a report and relevant submitted evidence. Possible action includes warning, content removal, account pause, account deletion, lawful evidence preservation, and referral to a competent authority where necessary.
Immediate danger in France: use 112 or 17, or official 114 SMS/app help when a normal voice call is not possible. CineBuddy is not an emergency service and the report queue is not monitored 24/7.
